Steven De bruyn
30/05/2026 / 18:30 @ Kesselhaus

When Steven started playing harmonica, at the end of the eighties, he was dreaming this tiny instrument would become his passport to the world. Since that moment he’s been living his dream with concerts in 4 continents. De bruyn is one of Europe’s most versatile contemporary harmonica players. The Belgian began experimenting with different musical styles early in his career. His music incorporates rock, as well as Arabic-Persian and psychedelic influences. To this day, his music is characterised by curiosity and openness.

Visiting a concert of Steven is like making a world trip in one go. Sometimes mystical, sometimes earthy, incorporating all the elements, Steven’s cinematic music can have an enchanting effect on the listener.

Performing a first concert together with the highly refined Iranian percussionist Roshanak Rafani, it will be a meeting of two nomadic souls.
