HARMONICA FEN FESTIVAL 2026

Hermine Deurloo & Anton Goudsmit
Their music is both powerful and gentle, full of depth and a calm, assured presence. Jazz is their world. The harmonica is their instrument. They share with Anton Goudsmit a love of unconventional grooves and imaginative improvisations.

Seth Shumate
His music is like a time machine, transporting the audience to a long-gone era: Seth Shumate plays old-time music with such virtuosity and inventiveness that it is a real pleasure to listen to him.

Keith Dunn & Klaas Wendling
Deeply rooted in the Chicago blues tradition, Keith Dunn is one of the most influential blues harmonica players of our time. Together with Klaas Wendland, he performed some wonderful blues tracks from their recently released album.Portrait

Steven De bruyn
De Bruyn is one of Europe’s most versatile contemporary harmonica players. The Belgian began experimenting with different musical styles at an early age. His music features rock, as well as Arabic-Persian and psychedelic influences.

Indiara Sfair
Contemporary blues and powerful Brazilian music – Indiara Sfair blends the two to create a unique, soulful sound. The Brazilian musician is one of the few women to be setting new standards on the harmonica in the international blues scene, which remains male-dominated to this day.

Sväng

Sväng
The joy of music and of playing the harmonica can be felt in every note played by the four members of Sväng. In their concerts, Sväng take their audience on an extraordinary musical journey – from Finnish tango and Balkan sounds to the works of John Williams and Jean Sibelius.

Yotam Ben-Or
Yotam Ben-Or’s music is music for learning to fly and for dreaming. Thought-provoking yet always hopeful, it carries the listener away, creates space, captures and embraces.

John Henry (featuring Mikael Bäckman)
The Swedish country band John Henry plays a lot of their own original music. Songs about life and death, longing and desire, saints and sinners, with a feeling and a tradition as if they had been written in the last century.

Free Reed Ensemble
The 3rd HARMONICA FEN FESTIVAL drew to a close with a concert featuring a stellar line-up. The Free Reed Ensemble brought no fewer than four instruments with striking reeds to the stage, thereby commemorating the 30th anniversary of the first ‘Zungenschlag Festival’ in Berlin in 1996.

Thank you for building such a warm, inspiring space and sense of community where the harmonica truly takes center stage.
